My vision as president is to unify the membership, strengthen all committees and groups, and grow our membership through the educational resources offered to this membership—including ETAP. I also want to bring us together on the floor through a lottery that creates participation, connection, and unity.
If elected, I will be visible on the floor and available to you as your president. I will make sure that union business is easy to understand and accessible—through handouts the following week after union meetings, and by sending letters in advance regarding the various educational opportunities available.
Knowledge is strength. Collective, unified knowledge will properly prepare us for the future, and the unification of this membership is my main concern. I have also felt a personal responsibility to keep building future leadership—by supporting younger committee people and creating opportunities for them to learn the job through the work we do together.
